131,000 investment in Washington County 4-H Program Coordinators generates a return of over 1.1M in economic stimulus within the County. This is derived from multiple sources such as:
1) Money spent on 4-H Projects
2) Money spent on ancillary items due to participation in 4-H events
3) Washington County Ag Society (County Fair Board) who spends money to keep fair running to house 4-H exhibits.
4) Local business revenue brought in from outside the county for "convenience purchases".
5) 4-H Club Donations to other non-profit organizations within the County.
